Job Description:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the manufacturing, logistics, and freight forwarding markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their needs.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new business.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new growth areas.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's sales and marketing strategies.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance KPIs.

Job requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a business development or sales role within the related industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • Strong understanding of the electrical, manufacturing, trading, logistics industry, including knowledge of transportation modes, freight forwarding operations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Regular client visitation to establish partnerships.
