Beckhoff Automation (Indonesia Representative Office)

Location: Semarang (with plans to relocate to Surabaya within the next 1–2 years)

Team

Our team in Indonesia consists of Sales, Marketing and Application Support.

You will report to the Branch Manager and focus in Central & Eestern Java region.

Responsibilities
  • seek, develop, and build relationships with machine builders and system integrators in targeted segments
  • client development for the full spectrum of automation products such as PLC, industrial PCs, fieldbus components, PC/NC automation software, drive technology and PC-based automation solutions
  • conduct technical product presentations and demonstrations for customers, showing benefits for the customer’s system
  • work closely with technical department to design and propose suitable solution architectures for customers‘ applications
  • work closely with marketing department for events such as seminars and roadshows
  • provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and customer updates to management
  • full responsibility for allocated sales targets and customer development
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Preferably with 2-3 years technical sales experience in industrial automation, process automation, robotics, control systems, or similar technology
  • Has developed customers (machine builders, system integrators, and or end user) in FMCG industry, such as F&B, pharmaceuticals, and process industry.
  • Keen interest in technology
  • Good technical knowledge of automation technology, fieldbus and system configurations
  • Good ability in understanding customer’s system and project requirements
  • Good sales and marketing skills in a B2B environment
  • Proactive, self-starter and team-oriented
  • Strong discipline to follow up on customers’ progress and report to management
  • Valid driver’s license with own car
