Sales Engineer

About the role
As a Sales Engineer at PT Fluida Teknologi Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our mechanical engineering solutions. This contract position is based in Depok, West Java, and will involve working closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored engineering expertise.

What you'll be doing

1. Create sales plans and execute.
2. Visit client’s facilities, make recommendations and prepare proposals for sales of FluidTek products & Services. Primary focus on Biodiesel Filtration.
3. Coordinate installation of FluidTek products.
4. Market and manage service contracts.
5. Continually develop technical knowledge and transfer that knowledge to others in FluidTek.

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is a plus.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales engineering or technical sales role within the mechanical engineering industry, especially diesel engines and contamination control.
3. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
5. Proficiency in project management and customer relationship management - convert to sales.
6. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards.
7. Good English is a plus.
