A leading stevedoring and logistics company in Indonesia is seeking a Sales Manager to lead their marketing team and enhance customer relationships. The role requires strong experience in freight forwarding, team leadership, and market analysis to drive sales and competitive advantage.
Create business proposals for new and existing opportunities.
Responsible for effective onboarding of New Customers.
Able to hunt & approach ocean freight business.
Responsible for finding the right target customers in company-focused industries.
Provide daily reports on the level of competition and general market activities.
Provide up-to-date information related to customer activities.
Serve as an agent in the company with the aim of achieving budgeted sales.
Able to understand customer supply chain, identify pain points, and sell the right solutions along with demonstrated value to customers.
Build strong relationships with clients.
Lead the marketing team to achieve targets.
Deliver consistently high standards of customer service.
Organize and maintain specific records and files to track financial transactions.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in Freight Forwarding or Shipping Line.
Experience working with targets.
Preferably specialized in Sales Freight Forwarding & Shipping Line with extensive customer relationships.
Able to lead a sales team and work independently or within a team.
Preferably domiciled in Medan.
