Job summary

Samudera Indonesia is seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to support ship operations, document control, and resource optimization. You will monitor day-to-day activities from cargo intake to dockside handoffs and report issues promptly.

You will contribute to maintaining an Integrated Management System, participate in investigations of incidents, and uphold information security practices to protect assets. Strong English skills and timely execution are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in transportation/logistics or related field is required.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Detail-oriented with strong focus on documentation accuracy.
• Creative problem-solving skills to improve operational processes.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines and timely work.

Responsibilities

• Regularly report day to day activity related to ship operations starting from cargo receiving activities on board.
• Report if there are any problems when carrying out shipping operations.
• Check various documents, such as delivery documents, invoices, and other documents related to shipping operations.
• Optimize utilization of resources and prepare ship position updates.
• Update relevant stakeholders on daily tasks such as ship activities, personnel, refinery and fleet changes.
• Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including risks in the relevant department's work area.
• Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all Integrated Management System requirements.
• Participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
• Engage in the information security control process to protect company information assets from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

• Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
• Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
