Job summary

A leading coal mining company in Indonesia is seeking a qualified Occupational Health and Safety Officer. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field and 1-2 years of experience in mining operations. Responsibilities include conducting risk assessments and ensuring safety compliance. The role requires flexibility with work hours and the capability to work independently as well as part of a team. This position is based in Paser, East Kalimantan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in mining operations.
• Preferably has experience working in mining operations.
• Willingness to work on-site with flexible hours.

• Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures.

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (K3) or related Technical Engineering

Having min 1-2 year of experience as same position in mining operation/Workshop

Preferably has experience working in mining operations

Willing to work on sites in flexible/extended hours to meet the company objectives

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willing to be placed in our mine site Paser East Kalimantan with roster 6 weeks on-site and 2 weeks off (field-brake will be fully accommodated to POH/KTP)

Responsibilities:

Conducting risk assessments, enforcing preventive measures, and fostering a culture of safety to ensure Zero harms

Ensuring that all safety regulations and policies are adhered to within the Organization

Monitor, analyze & report department HSE indicators, performance, metrics and trends

Continuously improving the department's health, safety, and environmental performance.

Promote a culture of safety through regular communication and awareness programs.

Work closely with other departments to ensure HSE compliance.

Communicate & Encourage HSE initiatives and performance to employees.

Support incident investigations
