Working with Strategy, Commercial, and Operations, we oversee platform reliability, competition, market analysis including competitiveness tracking, business model benchmarking, and translating insights that impact Grab's business and customers at every step.

Get to Know the Role

You will report to the GrabFood Demand Manager, Strategy and Planning. You will take ownership of demand strategies for Central Java & Yogyakarta. The role is fully onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

1. Formulate strategies for short-term and long-term demand initiatives, focusing on providing the best solutions for merchant and customer growth.
2. Apply strong analytical and critical thinking skills with proficiency in data analysis to solve problems and generate practical business insights.
3. Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to assess strategy effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
4. Design campaign structures and experimentations.
5. Maintain vigilance on competitive activities and identify potential opportunities within the online food delivery landscape, based on industry trends and strategies.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

1. A minimum of 2 years of strategic and analytical experience at leading management consulting firms and/or tech/e-commerce companies.
2. Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business fields from top local or overseas universities. Applicants from all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
3. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and spreadsheet software is essential. Experience with Google Sheets and App Script is an advantage.
4. Business-level proficiency in both written and spoken English.
5. Ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and responsibilities, maintaining healthy working relationships even during disagreements.
