Get to Know the Role

We're looking for an Assistant Manager to lead our GrabFood Demand in Sulawesi. This important role involves promoting the success of the GrabFood business in Sulawesi by creating demand levers tailored to local insights and applying the latest features available within the company. You'll report directly to the GrabFood Demand Strategic & Planning Manager. You will offer the chance to collaborate with top strategists in the company and use the latest tools. You can either be onsite in Makassar or based in Jakarta.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

1. Evaluate and forecast the financial performance of the Sulawesi Food business to ensure targeted growth and market leadership is achieved.
2. Develop demand strategies for the Food business, tailored to local market insights.
3. Evaluate the performance of demand strategies using quantitative methods.
4. Collaborate with other departments to devise promotional visibility strategies.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

1. You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Management, Business, or relevant degree.
2. You will hold a minimum of 2 years of experience in business consulting or a technology-related analytical role.
3. Possess analytical skills, with experience solving ambiguous problems using data and providing practical business insights.
4. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and spreadsheet software (especially Google Sheet with App Script) will be an added advantage.
5. Demonstrate advanced proficiency in both written and spoken English.
6. Partner cross-functionally with teams such as engineering, marketing, operations, product management, and sales.
