  • Analyse fraud patterns and user behaviours to recommend rule changes, product improvements, or partner actions.
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to design and implement risk controls.
  • Conduct periodic audits across internal processes, operations, and partners to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Compliance & Regulatory Coordination

  • Ensure adherence to local regulations (OJK, BI), including KYC, AML, and reporting obligations.
  • Collaborate with compliance consultants/legal to stay ahead of regulatory changes and build compliant processes.
  • Maintain and audit internal policies related to data privacy, partner due diligence, and consumer protection.

Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work with product, engineering, and ops to embed risk controls into user journeys and backend systems.
  • Act as the first line of defence and represent risk in internal reviews and external audits.
  • Prepare dashboards and insights for leadership on risk trends, exposure, and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of fraud typologies in wallets, transfers, EDCs, QRIS, wallets, identity fraud, synthetic KYC, promo abuse, chargebacks) and preventive measures.
  • Hands-on experience with fraud investigation, transaction monitoring, and risk control implementation.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as KYC, AML, BI reporting, and data protection best practices.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills—comfortable with SQL, Excel, or using fraud monitoring tools.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and communicate clearly across teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across product, ops, and leadership.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building or working with early-stage lending products
