Duties and Responsibilities
As Revenue Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Revenue and Reservations department to provide exceptional products and services within brand standards.
The duties include:
- Focusing on revenue generation and profile building for our resort, spa, and Six Senses as a whole.
- Setting up PMS & CRS to guide and evaluate room selling strategies.
- Managing inventory availability, pricing, and fluctuations in coordination with the Director of Sales & Marketing (DOSM) and reservations team.
- Developing pricing strategies with the DOSM and Group Director of Revenue Management to target market segments for long-term growth.
- Maintaining thorough knowledge of all hotel facilities, services, room types, rates, packages, credit policies, and reservation coding.
- Processing advance deposits on reservations.
- Tracking future room availability based on reservations.
- Managing allotments and updates across channels to optimize sales.
- Reviewing competitive set performance and market trends regularly.
- Monitoring reservations for accuracy and completeness.
- Reviewing cancellations, no-shows, groups, blocks, and allotments.
- Enforcing policies, procedures, and best practices rigorously.
- Collaborating with Food & Beverage and Spa & Wellness Directors to maximize revenue streams and optimize distribution channels.
- Training staff to instill a cost-focused approach.
- Ensuring legal, statutory, financial, safety, and operational standards are maintained.
QualificationsTo succeed as Revenue Manager, I should have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred, with at least one year of experience as a Revenue & Reservations Manager in a similar luxury hotel role. Three or more years of experience is preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Indonesian nationality.
