Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a well-established multinational retail company, is seeking a Retail Operations Manager to lead and grow their operations in Indonesia.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of operations programs, including policies, procedures, and best practices for retail stores.
  • Oversee operational expense budgeting, labor model planning, and cost control strategies.
  • Manage store lifecycle activities including new openings, remodels, and closures.
  • Support initiatives in loss prevention, field incentive programs, and store maintenance planning.
  • Build and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Distribution, IT, Marketing, HR, and Legal to ensure seamless implementation of operational initiatives.
  • Design and deliver training programs to upskill store teams and promote continuous improvement.
  • Act as a strategic partner to corporate and field leadership in optimizing retail execution and performance.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in retail operations, preferably in a multi-store or regional role within fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG.
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to balance operational efficiency with customer-centric strategies.
  • Proven planning and execution capability; able to establish structure, drive processes, and ensure accountability.
  • Highly analytical and confident working with numbers and performance data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
