Job summary

Michaels in Boise, ID is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloads, stocking, and maintaining planograms, while supporting omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience with cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards enrollments
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes
• Maintain merchandise in-stock and well-merchandised; complete return/go back process
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies; promote positive image
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
