What You'll Do (Job Description):

As a Retail Area Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and operational excellence of multiple Batik Keris stores. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Sales and Profitability: Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets, manage budgets, and optimize profitability across all assigned stores.
• Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing team of Store Managers and their staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting continuous learning and career growth.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure consistent adherence to company policies, procedures, and visual merchandising standards across all locations. Oversee inventory management, loss prevention, and store maintenance.
• Customer Experience: Champion exceptional customer service by ensuring store teams are trained and empowered to deliver memorable experiences that reflect the Batik Keris brand values.
• Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Performance Management: Conduct regular store visits, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to Store Managers. Implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to contribute to the overall retail strategy and expansion plans.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, operational metrics, and team performance to senior management.

Who We're Looking For (Qualifications):

We're seeking a passionate and experienced professional with:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail management, with at least 2-3 years in an Area Manager or multi-unit management role, preferably within the retail fashion, lifestyle, or heritage product sectors.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate large teams across multiple locations.
• Business Acumen: Strong understanding of retail operations, financial management, sales analytics, and inventory control.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute effective retail strategies to drive growth and profitability.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment, adapting to changing priorities and market conditions.
• Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across various cities in Indonesia to oversee store operations.
• Passion for Batik: A genuine appreciation and understanding of Indonesian batik and its cultural significance is a strong plus.
