Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a management role within hotel housekeeping or similar hospitality cleaning environment.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
• In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and hygiene standards.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest satisfaction metrics.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and supervise housekeeping and cleaning staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures for cleaning and hygiene.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Manage inventory of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee scheduling of staff and manage labor costs effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Implement and maintain sustainable cleaning practices.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints related to housekeeping services.
• Contribute to budgeting and financial planning for the department.
