Job summary

PT Apex Nusantara Indo seeks a Reserving & Financial Modeling Assistant Manager in Jakarta. You will lead the monthly reserving process, develop tools, and analyze claim-related metrics to support risk and planning functions.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in math/statistics, 5+ years actuarial experience, passes PAI/ASAI modules, and advanced MS Office/Power BI skills. Strong leadership and programming capability are essential.

Qualifications

• Min. Bachelor’s degree in mathematical or statistical field.
• At least 5 years of working experience as actuarial excellence.
• Preferably pass several PAI and ASAI examination modules.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PPT and Word).
• Good leadership and strategic thinking skills.
• Good technical skills (programming, actuarial tools, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Perform reserving process each month, identify significant issue, and create the summary report.
• Develop and improve tools to support reserving exercise and communicate reserve figures with stakeholders in technical team and Risk Management.
• Perform analysis of claim handling expense, Risk margin, Reinsurance utilization, large losses analysis, or other modelling related.
• Review reserving policy and SOP, identifying room for improvement in internal reserving process.
• Collaborate with Stratplan, Finance & Accounting, and Underwriter teams to project company strategy and planning.
• Support Group strategy & Planning submission and OJK Business plan and develop supporting tools.
• Study actuarial assumptions and implementation.
• Collaborate with vendors to perform financial impact analysis and develop supporting tools.
