kumparan is seeking a Jakarta-based journalist to write news reports drawn from offline and online coverage, including webinars and live events, under the guidance of the editor.

You will develop relevant topics, build a professional network of sources, and rephrase existing content while upholding accuracy and journalistic standards. A bachelor’s degree in journalism and a strong writing portfolio are preferred.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or a related field; proficiency in a foreign language (Chinese, French, Japanese, etc.) is preferred.
• Passionate about and experienced in journalism.
• Up-to-date with current issues, trends, and news developments.
• Good time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
