Job summary

KG Media (Kompas Gramedia Group of Media) seeks a journalist to deliver live field reports, research current affairs, and craft clear news scripts from our Jakarta newsroom.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in TV news reporting, plus strong on-camera delivery, research ability, and excellent interviewing skills. You will collaborate with cameramen and producers in a fast-paced environment and uphold high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in any major (Journalism is a plus).
• Have at least 1 year working experience in news reporting, preferably in TV news (fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome).
• Strong on-camera presence with clear and articulate delivery.
• Strong research skills to gather accurate and comprehensive information.
• Analytical ability to interpret and explain complex issues clearly.
• Excellent interviewing and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with sources and colleagues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and work shifting-hour.
