Job summary

Surf Pacific is a remote video editor role, working with a marketing agency serving clients in Australia, the UK, and the US. You will edit professionally filmed footage into polished videos for websites, social media, and campaigns, using Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Capcut, and Canva.

A strong eye for detail, English communication, and ability to collaborate remotely are essential. The role is fully remote, based in Jakarta, with hours 9am-5pm AEST, Monday to Friday,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in multimedia, creative arts, film, or similar.
• Organised portfolio demonstrating video editing skills.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Capcut and Canva.
• Experience editing YouTube, short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) and podcasts.

Responsibilities

• Edit video content across multiple clients and formats.
• Export high-quality videos and create cover images.
• Balance dialogue, color correction and basic color grading.
• Cut interviews into engaging, well-paced videos.
• Produce short-form cutdowns for social media platforms.
• Work with briefs, brand guidelines and reference videos.
• Keep project files and exports organized; manage deadlines.
