Job summary

Gayana Advertise is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong focus on Financial Reporting to join the team remotely. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS, supporting external audits and delivering high-quality financial insights.

You will prepare financial statements, analyze variances, and manage month-end and year-end closings while collaborating across a remote team. A CPA is preferred and a minimum of 5–7 years in accounting is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience with a strong focus on financial reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and practical application.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Analyze financial results, identify trends, and explain variances to management.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors.
