Eterna is hiring a React Developer / DevOps Engineer for a fully remote role working with an international client base. You’ll split time between building React features and owning deployments, CI/CD, and production monitoring, collaborating with distributed teams to deliver reliable software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building applications with React.js.
• Experience consuming REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of modern frontend development practices.
• Experience working with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
• Experience using Docker in development or production environments.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Sentry, Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Comfortable performing database migrations and resolving data issues.
• Basic familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• A reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work setup.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern React applications and internal tools.
• Build new features based on product requirements.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Improve application performance and user experience.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Own application deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor production systems and respond to application issues.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, production bugs, and performance problems.
• Perform database migrations and resolve data-related issues.
• Improve deployment automation and engineering workflows.
• Create and maintain runbooks and operational documentation.
• Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Act as a bridge between the development team and our third-party IT team on application-specific needs.
• Work closely with developers to improve release reliability and operational excellence.
• Help ensure the stability, availability, and performance of the client’s applications.
