Job summary

micro1 is seeking an Indonesian Bilingual Expert to support a remote, contractor-based project that trains next-generation AI systems. You will review audio clips, provide detailed feedback on Indonesian speech, and ensure cultural and contextual accuracy.

This role emphasizes independent work, timely delivery, and contributing to evaluation framework improvements. Native Indonesian with regional dialect insight and English B2 proficiency are preferred, along with a strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• Native-level Indonesian with knowledge of regional dialects and cultural nuances.
• English proficiency at least B2 (spoken and written).
• Strong attention to detail in language evaluation.
• Experience in translation, localization, linguistics, content moderation, or language quality assessment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Listen to and review audio clips to assess nativeness and fluency of Indonesian speech.
• Provide written and verbal feedback on language accuracy, pronunciation, intonation, and authenticity.
• Validate cultural and contextual appropriateness of language in audio samples.
• Document observations clearly for model improvement.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to discuss findings and clarify guidelines.
• Deliver high-quality assessments within project timelines.
• Share linguistically-informed suggestions to refine evaluation frameworks.
