Job summary

Pou Chen Group Indonesia is seeking a Geologist for a fully remote role supporting mineral exploration. You will analyze diverse geological data and develop 3D models to identify prospective zones, collaborating with a global team of geoscientists.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years in geological data analysis, strong modeling skills, and proficiency with Leapfrog, ArcGIS, and Petrel, with excellent English communication. This remote position offers flexible hours and async collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences; master's preferred.
• 4–6 years in geological data analysis for mineral exploration.
• Proficiency with Leapfrog, ArcGIS, Petrel for modeling/visualization.
• Strong understanding of mineralogy, structural geology, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze geological data from core samples, geophysical surveys, and assays.
• Develop and refine 3D geological models of subsurface structures.
• Interpret seismic and well-log data to identify mineral targets.
• Use Leapfrog, ArcGIS, Petrel for visualization and analysis.
• Collaborate with senior geologists to define exploration targets.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Conduct literature reviews to support interpretations.
• Develop new data analysis techniques and workflows.
• Maintain organized geological databases and records.
• Participate in virtual team meetings and project discussions.
