Job summary

Qualifications

• Typing speed of 45 words per minute or faster.
• Knowledge of health insurance plans and hospital outpatient services.
• Experience in medical office front desk, insurance/authorization, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Initiate and secure prior authorization with payers.
• Document interactions and information into the EMR per department standards.
