Job summary

WelcometoSSM is seeking an experienced Aircraft Interior Technician to work remotely on refurbishment and maintenance of aircraft cabin interiors. You will ensure seats, galleys, lavatories, and overhead bins meet aesthetic, functional, and regulatory standards, while working independently on complex interior systems.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality interior craftsmanship with a remote-first approach, including potential site visits for regulatory or project requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Aircraft Interior Technician or related field.
• Proficiency with interior materials (fabrics, leather, plastics, composites).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and cabin layouts.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, replacements and modifications on aircraft interior components.
• Ensure all interior work complies with aviation regulations and safety standards.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Fabricate or modify interior parts as needed.
• Coordinate with design teams and project managers on refurbishment projects.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and materials consumed.
