Job summary

Flashcom Indonesia is seeking a Remote Aircraft Interior Design Engineer to contribute to cabin interior development for commercial aircraft. You will translate concepts into functional, compliant, and manufacturable solutions, collaborating with a global design team from your home office.

You will create 3D models, renderings, and technical drawings, ensure compliance with FAA/EASA standards, and drive designs from concept to completion while maintaining passenger comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in aircraft interior design or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, Alias) and rendering tools.
• Strong understanding of aircraft cabin systems, ergonomics, and human factors.
• Knowledge of aviation regulations pertaining to cabin interiors and materials.
• Excellent visual communication skills and the ability to present complex designs clearly in a remote context.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative interior design concepts for aircraft cabins, including seating, galleys, lavatories, and passenger amenities.
• Create detailed 3D models, renderings, and technical drawings using advanced CAD and design software.
• Collaborate closely with external clients, project managers, and manufacturing partners through virtual communication channels.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant aviation regulations, safety standards (e.g., FAA, EASA), and material certifications.
