Reliability Maintenance Specialist

Responsibilities -

• Hydraulic System Management - Ensure the hydraulic systems operate efficiently through preventive and corrective maintenance. Perform failure analysis on hydraulic systems and implement necessary corrective actions. Coordinate with the team to ensure timely replacement and maintenance of hydraulic components.
• Lubrication System Management - Ensure the lubrication systems function optimally to support the operational efficiency of the Paper Machine. Develop and manage the maintenance schedule for lubrication systems, including oil replacements and condition monitoring. Conduct audits and tests on lubrication systems to ensure there is no contamination or system failure.
• Condition Monitoring - Implement condition monitoring techniques to detect potential issues with machinery before they lead to major failures. Analyze data from sensors and monitoring systems to identify areas needing attention. Develop and execute effective predictive maintenance programs to minimize machine downtime.
• Machine Maintenance and Repair - Develop maintenance plans and schedules for Paper Machine equipment to ensure maximum performance and prevent breakdowns. Lead the technical team in machine repair and maintenance activities. Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety procedures and quality standards.
• Team Management - Lead and develop the maintenance team, providing technical training and leadership. Manage human resources to ensure the team works efficiently and productively. Generate team performance reports and plan improvements and capacity-building initiatives.
• Budget and Resource Management - Manage the maintenance budget to ensure resource efficiency. Ensure the procurement of spare parts and consumables aligns with operational needs and budget constraints.
• Cross-Department Collaboration - Coordinate with the production department to ensure maintenance activities do not interfere with production schedules. Work closely with the engineering team to implement long-term solutions and optimize work processes.

Qualifications -

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Reliability Maintenance, specifically in Paper Machines or similar industries. Experience in hydraulic systems, lubrication, and condition monitoring.

Required Skills -

• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of machine failure analysis, troubleshooting, and the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in leading teams, project management, and the ability to train and develop staff.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities with various departments and management levels.

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of machinery and equipment used in paper production, particularly hydraulic, lubrication, and condition monitoring systems. Proficiency in analyzing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to diagnose complex issues and implement effective solutions quickly. Capable of making data-driven decisions under pressure to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.

• Root Cause Analysis: Proficient in identifying the root causes of equipment failures and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Expertise in using tools and techniques such as failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA) or root cause analysis (RCA).
• Predictive and Preventive Maintenance: Expertise in designing, implementing, and improving predictive maintenance strategies based on condition monitoring data. Strong knowledge of predictive maintenance tools and software to track and forecast potential issues.
