Ambercycle is seeking a Business Development Lead to drive the commercialization of a new line of regenerated specialty materials across Asia. The Job
We are commercializing a new line of regenerated specialty materials with expansion planned across Asia. You will lead business development and customer acquisition across the region, while coordinating closely with our partners and technical team.This role combines strategic sales execution with hands-on commercialization and is ideal for someone who thrives in a startup-like environment with long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities
Market Development & Sales
- Develop and execute a regional sales pipeline across priority markets in Southeast Asia and North Asia, and interface with colleagues handling the US and European markets for specialty materials.
- Lead technical-commercial engagements, from sample introduction through to scaled supply.
- Structure pricing, contracts, and long-term offtake agreements that align with customers' regulatory and sustainability priorities.
- Partner with supply chain team to arrange logistics and fulfill samples, and orders for our customers.
Downstream Manufacturing Interface
- Identify and engage with external manufacturing partners and customers across Asia- Coordinate sample trials and QA vetting (lab to commercial scale) with internal technical support.
- Ensure quality and capacity align with customer requirements.
Product Support & Insights
- Articulate material benefits in customer meetings (e.g. compliance, sustainability, performance).
- Monitor market pricing, competitive trends, and relevant regulatory developments.
Channel & Trade Representation
- Identify and manage local agents or distributors where appropriate.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events across regenerated materials, sustainable chemicals, and others.
