Job Description:
The Agency Regional Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales growth and performance within a designated region of Sun Life's agency channel. This position plays a crucial role in developing and executing sales strategies, managing agency relationships, and achieving revenue targets while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with Sun Life's overall business objectives and agency growth plans.
Manage and mentor a team of agency sales professionals, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with agency principals and key stakeholders within the assigned region.
Monitor sales targets for individual agencies and the region as a whole.
Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Product Development, Operations) to ensure effective support for agency sales efforts.
Conduct regular field visits to agencies to provide on-site support, training, and performance reviews.
Organize and lead regional sales meetings, training sessions, and recognition events.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Sun Life policies across all sales activities.
Identify and develop new agency partnerships to expand Sun Life's presence in the region.
