Job description

Responsibilities
  • Maintain distributor or contractor in order to discover client's need analysis and maintain sales volume.
  • Conduct cold calls to potential customers and conduct meetings with clients/distributors/partners.
  • Lead a sales team of ten to twenty people and train them to be good sales professionals.
  • Go-to-market as a door opener to new markets all over Indonesia, depending on assignment.
  • Ensure all sales processes are handled professionally.
  • Cross-sell and upsize opportunities.
  • Travel to mining sites to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
  • Liaise with procurement and finance teams to create business proposals.

General Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree from a university in Indonesia or abroad.
  • Experience in B2B Sales, selling equipment/spare parts/heavy machinery.
  • Background experience in mining, plantation, heavy equipment, or automotive industries preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a sales professional, and/or 3 years' experience as a regional sales manager.
  • Required heavy travel (70%) to visit clients or projects.
  • Willingness to be based in the region, depending on available location.
