Flexicon Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of bulk material handling systems, is establishing a presence in Indonesia, and we're looking for a technically capable, self-motivated professional to lead that effort.
This is a hybrid sales and business development role. You will manage enquiries, quotations and relationships with existing customers, while actively originating new business across Indonesia and nearby South-East Asian markets. You will operate with a high degree of independence in-market, backed by colleagues in Singapore, Australia and our global business development team.

What You Will Do
Identify, research and prioritize target industries, key accounts and projects across Indonesia and adjacent South-East Asian markets.
Drive business development through market intelligence and targeted marketing initiatives, helping to build, brand awareness, generating leads and converting opportunities.
Conduct on-site, phone and virtual meetings with customers and prospects to review their applications and provide requirement-based recommendations, quotations and sales.
Review technical and engineering specifications and coordinate responses with internal teams before reverting to customers, working closely with Sales and Applications Engineering teams across Flexicon's global operations.
Originate new opportunities through direct outreach, industry associations, trade events, consultants, EPC contractors and referral networks, following up promptly on all leads.
Build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse customer base within the region's materials handling industry.
Maintain accurate pipeline, activity and forecast data in the CRM.
Contribute local market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, regulation and emerging end-user segments, to the regional expansion plan.
Travel frequently to customer sites within Indonesia and neighbouring South-East Asian countries, for majority of working time.
What We Are Looking For
Deep understanding of local culture and the ability to navigate the Indonesian business environment.
Fluent written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision, and who consistently meets deadlines and commitments.
An engineering or technical qualification, or equivalent practical experience specifying equipment for industrial applications.
Minimum three years' experience in field sales of technical or capital equipment; experience with bulk processing or bulk material handling equipment is a strong advantage.
An established network within Indonesian manufacturing, food and beverage, chemical, mining or pharmaceutical sectors is an advantage.
Competence with standard business applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and CRM systems.
A positive attitude, strong organizational and time management skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Market intelligence - regular input on competitor activity, pricing and emerging segments to support the regional expansion plan.
