Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end accounting cycle including general ledger, reconciliations, monthly and year-end closing, and reporting.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, cost analyses, and profitability assessments.
  • Oversee accounting for biological assets, inventory, production activities, and expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation, statutory requirements and internal policies.
  • Monitor costs, raw materials, and budget performance for cost optimization.
  • Analyze feed production costs, supply chain expenses, and inventory utilization to improve financials.
  • Support treasury activities including cash flow forecasting and working capital across sites.
  • Establish and strengthen internal controls for accurate reporting and governance.
  • Lead external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and regulators.
  • Provide financial insights for strategic planning and investments.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance programs across units.

Job Role

The Accounting & Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company\'s accounting operations, financial reporting, treasury activities, cost management, and compliance functions across multiple agricultural and livestock production facilities. This role plays a critical position in ensuring the integrity of financial information, supporting operational decision-making, and maintaining effective financial controls within a complex production environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, operational leaders, external auditors, and regulatory stakeholders to manage accounting processes, monitor production costs, oversee biological asset reporting, and support strategic financial planning. This position is highly suitable for finance professionals with strong experience in agribusiness, livestock operations, food manufacturing, agricultural production, or other operationally intensive industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including general ledger management, reconciliations, monthly closing, year-end closing, and financial reporting activities.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, production cost analyses, budget performance reports, and profitability assessments.
  • Oversee accounting treatment and reporting of biological assets, inventory movements, production activities, and operational expenditures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation regulations, statutory requirements, and internal governance policies.
  • Monitor operational costs, raw material expenditures, production efficiency metrics, and budget performance to identify opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Analyze feed production costs, supply chain expenses, logistics expenditures, and inventory utilization to improve overall financial performance.
  • Support treasury management activities, including cash flow forecasting, working capital management, payment controls, and funding requirements across operational sites.
  • Establish and strengthen internal controls to ensure transparency, accountability, and accuracy of financial transactions and operational reporting.
  • Lead external audit engagements and coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, government agencies, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • Monitor taxation developments, import-related financial implications, operational compliance requirements, and other regulatory matters affecting the business.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to management regarding operational efficiency, investment decisions, cost structures, and business expansion initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance improvement programs across multiple business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor\'s Degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, Ak., or equivalent qualifications are highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Financial Control, Audit, or related financial management functions.
  • Proven experience within Agribusiness, Livestock Operations, Poultry, Food Manufacturing, Agricultural Production, FMCG Manufacturing, or other production-based industries.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, cost accounting, budgeting, treasury management, and internal control frameworks.
  • Experience managing operational cost structures, inventory accounting, production accounting, and multi-site financial reporting environments.
  • Knowledge of biological asset accounting, agricultural inventory management, or agricultural financial reporting standards is highly preferred.
  • Experience leading external audits and coordinating with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting platforms, Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, attention to detail, and financial decision-making skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to operational sites and support business activities across multiple locations when required.
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken, for reporting, presentations, audit coordination, and communication with international stakeholders.
