About Our Client

Our client is a multinational plantation company with multiple sites in Indonesia. They are looking to onboard an experienced FC with a background in plantation to lead their finance team.

Job Description

  • Assist in preparing business plans and managing capital requests and budgeting processes.
  • Oversee accounting and reporting under IFRS, ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations, and support audits and compliance with local and HQ standards.
  • Supervise treasury functions, maintain cash flow integrity, prepare forecasts, and manage funding and banking relationships.
  • Support executive decisions, manage third-party finance functions, oversee transaction systems, and promote operational best practices.
  • Drive risk mitigation, enforce internal controls, support audits, and follow up on identified issues.
  • Oversee tax filings, provisions, transfer pricing, dispute resolutions, and compliance with new regulations.
  • Report financially to local and group management, and maintain strong relationships with auditors and the internal team.

The Successful Applicant

  • Malaysian
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree, with qualification in CPA or CMA
  • Proven leadership position as FC or equivalent
  • More than 15 years of experience
  • Preferably candidate with background in palm oil or plantation
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin (Liaise with China office)
  • Fluent in English language, both oral and written
  • Placement in Palembang, South Sumatra office
