The Master Teacher Coach will play a crucial role in coaching freelance/part-time teachers, conducting observations, providing feedback, and supporting the professional development of local teachers. This position is integral to maintaining and enhancing the quality of education at English Academy.
Job Descriptions
- Coaching and Mentoring: Coach teachers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring adherence to teaching standards.
- Performance Observations and Feedback: Conduct regular observations and provide professional feedback to teachers as needed, ensuring alignment with EA's performance review cycle.
- Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews with teachers in accordance with EA's performance management cycle, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
- Teacher Engagement: Support and enhance teachers’ engagement, ensuring they remain motivated and connected to the institution's goals.
- Professional Feedback: Observe and provide constructive professional feedback to all teachers as needed, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Onboarding Support: Support the onboarding process for new local mitra, ensuring they are well-integrated and prepared for their roles.
- Class Management: Assist in managing cover and assignment of teachers for classes as needed, ensuring smooth operation and adequate staffing.
- Administrative Support: Collaborate with content ops, bizops, and other teams to support the administrative responsibilities of teachers, ensuring efficient operation.
- Engagement Initiatives: Oversee and initiate engagement activities for all teachers and staff, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
- Teaching Duties: Support teaching duties as needed, including conducting trial classes, testing, covering classes, and participating in special events.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching and/or teacher coaching.
- Strong observational and feedback skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
