Job description

All expectations are related to the SE domain area, within a specific time zone perimeter.

- Contribute to the creation or updating of group guidelines and requirements.

- Contribute to defining and implementing the zone's strategic plan (roadmap).

- Ensure a regulatory oversight process to meet entity obligations in the area.

- Monitor the compliance level of the region's entities with laws, regulations, and Michelin requirements.

- Represent Michelin's interests and anticipate risks or opportunities through participation in external networks or stakeholder studies.

- Detect, analyze, and act on organizational, technical, normative, and regulatory developments impacting risks.

- Provide expertise to sites and entities for risk analyses, including SE advice on projects.

- Ensure alignment of tools and methods across sites, including calibration procedures.

- Define and implement working methods and tools for risk management, compliance, and SE performance.

- Capitalize on best practices and lessons learned from incidents and experiences, promoting cross-functional actions.

- Regularly update SE risk mapping and maintain risk control at the expected level.

- Ensure indicators are reliable, representative, and communicated promptly.

- Participate in inter-zone networks and coordinate intra-zone networks to ensure coherent actions and support SE performance.

- Contribute to the zone's SE communication plan.

- Conduct audits and internal control tests within the zone for performance analysis.

- Carry out the annual Management Review of the area (SMEP).

- Measure business skills and field staff availability; implement upgrade plans if needed.

- Provide technical support, including training, coaching, and mentoring, and implement certification processes where applicable.

Options A: + SE coordination in the country

- Coordinate compliance monitoring of sites with local laws and regulations for a unified response to authorities.

- Represent and defend the legal entity's interests before authorities and stakeholders as needed.

Options B: + SE representation in the entity

- Serve as the SE focal point within the entity, integrating SE issues into strategic planning and investments.

- Incorporate SE issues into stakeholder succession planning where necessary.
