About the role

We are seeking a talented Railway Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at PT Berkat Sumber Rizki'. As a Railway Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems for our railway operations. This is a full-time position based in North Jakarta, Jakarta.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate & communicate with clients

Designing and developing mechanical systems for railway infrastructure, including locomotives, rolling stock, and other related equipment

Conducting research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving the efficiency and performance of mechanical systems

Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of new mechanical systems

Providing technical support and troubleshooting for existing mechanical systems

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of mechanical systems with other railway components

Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices

Continuously seeking ways to optimize processes and enhance the overall performance of the railway system

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable Public University in Indonesia.

Able to communicate in English as well as speaking in Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin Speaker will be considered.

Minimum 5 years of experience in the mechanical industry and or railway industry, with a proven track record in mechanical engineering

Strong understanding of railway mechanical systems, including locomotives, rolling stock, and related infrastructure

Proficient in CAD software, data analysis tools, and project management techniques

Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

A commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards
