Job summary

Siloam International Hospitals seeks a dedicated Radiology Technician (D3) to perform a range of imaging examinations, including radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, CT, MRI, and ultrasound support. You will prepare patients, verify data, and maintain safety and quality standards in collaboration with radiology specialists.

The ideal candidate has a D3 in Radiology with at least 2 years of hospital experience and a preference for cathlab exposure.

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) Degree from Radiology.
• Min. 2 years of experience in hospital, especially passionate about diagnostic radiology.
• Experience in cathlab is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out radiographic examinations per doctor’s request with radiation protection.
• Check equipment before inspection and prepare radiation protection gear.
• Perform data entry to confirm patient arrivals and data in the radiology system.
• Confirm with administrative department regarding examinations to be conducted or completed.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures to ensure understanding and consent.
• Carry out radiographic examinations per doctor’s requests while applying radiation safety measures.
• Ensure equipment is neat and clean after inspection activities.
• Process Computed Radiography tasks: enter data, edit images, check photo quality for radiology reports.
• Maintain complete documentation in patient files and operational records for radiology services.
• Collect data and generate reports for analysis by superiors or related parties.
• Implement quality and safety procedures, attend training, collect data, and document reports for hospital-wide indicators.

• Carrying out radiographic examinations which include conventional radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, CT Scan, MRI, mobile photos in the room, C-arm operations in the operating room, Cath Lab Angiography, and preparing ultrasound in accordance with the procedures and quality and safety standards that have been determined for use as a support for medical services/doctor's diagnosis
• Check the equipment before the inspection and prepare radiation protection equipment to minimize obstacles during inspection activities
• Performing data entry related to confirming patient arrivals and necessary patient data in the radiology service system
• To confirm with the administrative department regarding the examination that will be or has been conducted
• Preparing patients who will undergo examinations, including explaining the examination procedures that will be carried out to ensure that the patient understand and agree to the procedure
• Carry out radiographic examinations according to the request of the sending doctor by taking radiation protection measures when carrying out the examination
• Ensure that equipment is neat and clean after inspection activities
• Carrying out processes directly related to Computer Radiography includes entering data, editing images, and checking the quality of photos to produce optimal radiographic photos that will be used by radiology specialists
• Carry out complete documentation and filing both in patient files and for operational needs of radiology services
• Collect required data and/or create reports related to operational activities to be used as analysis material by superiors or by other related parties
• Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, collecting data, documenting and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets
