Job summary

RSU Syubbanul Wathon in Magelang, Central Java, is hiring a radiographer to perform diverse imaging procedures (X-ray, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound) with emphasis on safety and accuracy. You will prepare patients, protect them with radiation safety practices, and ensure proper documentation and data management.

The role requires an active STR registration, a D3/D4 in Radiography, and at least 1 year of hospital radiology experience.

Qualifications

  • Diploma (D3) or Bachelor (D4) in Radiography/Radiological Technology
  • Active STR registration from the relevant regulatory body
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a hospital radiology department
  • Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment (conventional radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, CT, MRI, ultrasound)
  • Competency in computer-based radiography systems and image editing
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain procedures clearly to patients
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient protection measures
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Proficiency in medical documentation systems and patient data management

Responsibilities

  • Carry out radiographic examinations as per procedures and safety standards
  • Check equipment and prepare radiation protection gear
  • Enter patient data and arrivals into the radiology system
  • Coordinate with administrative department regarding examinations
  • Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure understanding and consent
  • Perform examinations per doctor requests with proper radiation protection
  • Ensure equipment is neat and clean after inspections
  • Handle digital radiography tasks including data entry, editing, and quality checks
  • Maintain complete documentation and filing for patient files and operations
  • Collect data and create reports for analysis by superiors or related parties
  • Support quality and safety procedures through training and data collection

Job Description

  • Carrying out radiographic examinations which include conventional radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, CT Scan, MRI, mobile photos in the room, C-arm operations in the operating room, Cath Lab Angiography, and preparing ultrasound in accordance with the procedures and quality and safety standards that have been determined for use as a support for medical services/doctor's diagnosis
  • Check the equipment before the inspection and prepare radiation protection equipment to minimize obstacles during inspection activities
  • Performing data entry related to confirming patient arrivals and necessary patient data in the radiology service system
  • To confirm with the administrative department regarding the examination that will be or has been conducted
  • Preparing patients who will undergo examinations, including explaining the examination procedures that will be carried out to ensure that the patient understand and agree to the procedure
  • Carry out radiographic examinations according to the request of the sending doctor by taking radiation protection measures when carrying out the examination
  • Ensure that equipment is neat and clean after inspection activities
  • Carrying out processes directly related to Computer Radiography includes entering data, editing images, and checking the quality of photos to produce optimal radiographic photos that will be used by radiology specialists
  • Carry out complete documentation and filing both in patient files and for operational needs of radiology services
  • Collect required data and/or create reports related to operational activities to be used as analysis material by superiors or by other related parties
  • Implement procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including attending training, collecting data, documenting and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets
Qualifications
  • Diploma (D3) or Bachelor (D4) degree in Radiography/Radiological Technology
  • Active Professional Registration (STR - Surat Tanda Registrasi) from the relevant regulatory body
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a hospital radiology department (preferred)
  • Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment (conventional radiography, fluoroscopy, mammography, CT, MRI, and ultrasound systems)
  • Competency in computer-based radiography systems, including image editing and quality assessment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain procedures clearly to patients
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient protection measures
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Proficiency in medical documentation systems and patient data management
