The expected hiring range for this position is:
$86,900.00-$123,567.00.Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such the scope and responsibilities of the position, qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
This position is not eligible for relocation assistance, referral bonus program and sponsorship assistance.
About the Role:
Under limited supervision, the Radiation Physicist develops, implements, maintains and monitors programs by evaluating work conditions, environmental impact, and Laboratory operations affected by ionizing radiation hazards. Ensures compliance with applicable local, state and federal regulations, requirements and standards and US Department of Energy (DOE) Orders. May lead a significant portion of Fermilab's radiological control program or implement solutions to radiological problems in parallel with programmatic operations and goals of other environment, safety and health (ES&H) disciplines. Applies knowledge and experience to develop analytical solutions to radiological physics problems encountered at particle accelerators. May be responsible for ES&H review of process systems and accident investigations.
