Job summary

bekerdja.id is seeking a seasoned Research and Development Manager to lead the development and innovation of fitness supplement products within the FMCG sector. The role requires end-to-end oversight from concept to commercialization, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and alignment with market trends and consumer needs.

You will build and manage a high-performing R&D team, drive product formulation across formats, and collaborate with QC, Production, Regulatory, and Marketing to bring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Nutrition, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in R&D, especially in dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, or functional foods.
• Strong understanding of supplement formulations including protein blends, BCAAs, vitamins and other active ingredients.
• In-depth knowledge of food and supplement regulations (BPOM, Halal, GMP, HACCP) and product registration requirements.
• Experience in product lifecycle management from concept to market launch.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research and development of new fitness supplement products based on market trends and consumer needs.
• Design and test product formulations across formats (powder, capsule, tablet, RTD).
• Oversee lab-scale and pilot-scale trials ensuring QA.tag.html quality and stability targets.
• Collaborate with QC, Production, Regulatory, and Marketing for successful commercialization.
• Evaluate new ingredients based on data, supplier docs, and regulatory compliance.
