Job summary

Pt Daya Cipta Mandiri Solusi is seeking a hands-on R&D Manager for health and fitness supplements based in Tangerang, Indonesia. The role leads research, formulation, laboratory operations, scale-up, and commercialization across sports nutrition, nutraceuticals, and functional foods.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in R&D within the health sector, with 2-3 years of managerial experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of ingredient functionality, taste masking, stability, and cost

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) or Master's Degree (S2) in Food Technology, Nutrition, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Food Science, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of proven R&D experience in dietary supplement, sports nutrition, nutraceuticals, or functional foods.
Minimum 2-3 years of managerial or team leadership experience within an R&D function.
Strong technical knowledge of sports nutrition, dietary supplements, nutraceutical formulations, and product development processes.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end R&D and product development for sports nutrition, dietary supplement, nutraceutical, and functional food products.
Translate consumer trends, market opportunities, scientific research, and business requirements into commercially viable product concepts.
Develop and optimize formulations across powder blends, capsules, tablets, stick packs, RTDs, and other formats.
Oversee laboratory trials to optimize taste, solubility, stability, and active ingredient performance.
Manage, mentor, and develop the R&D team, including Supervisors and Staff, with KPIs and development plans.
