Job summary

A leading supplement manufacturer in Cikupa is seeking an R&D Formulation Supplement & Obat Tradisional Sr. Staff to develop product formulations for traditional medicines, conduct regulatory reviews, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy and have at least 3 years of related experience with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities. This role is located in the Jatake Industrial Area, Cikupa.

Qualifications

Job description

R&D Formulation Supplement & Obat Tradisional Sr. Staff

Develop product formulations for supplements and traditional medicines in various dosage forms, including tablets, capsules, powders, liquids, and others.

Conduct literature and regulatory reviews (BPOM, CPOTB) related to active ingredients, excipients, and product claims.

Design and carry out laboratory trials to establish stable and effective formulations.

Perform stability studies, ingredient compatibility tests, and both accelerated and real-time storage tests.

Prepare and review technical documents such as formula sheets, master formulas, stability test protocols, and registration files.

Coordinate with other departments including QA, QC, Regulatory Affairs, Production, and Marketing throughout the product development and commercialization stages.

Ensure compliance with CPOB and CPOTB in all formulation and development activities.

Execute technology transfer to the production team and provide on-site assistance during pilot/commercial trials.

Propose formulation improvements and innovations based on market trends, ingredient effectiveness, and cost efficiency.

Create protocols and reports for lab and pilot-scale trials.

Supervise the initial production of new products.

Assist in the preparation of product registration documents.

Qualifications

Minimum education requirement: Bachelor of Pharmacy (S.Farm) and Apoteker License

Minimum of 3 years' experience in supplement or traditional medicine formulation, including stability testing and production trials.

In-depth knowledge of natural ingredients, herbal extracts, and standardization of herbal materials.

Familiarity with BPOM regulations related to supplements and traditional medicines (CPOTB, PerBPOM).

Skilled in drafting technical documents and stability test protocols in accordance with regulatory standards.

Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Accustomed to conducting scientific research and analyzing journals or compendial references.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills in formulation development.

Effective communication skills and able to deliver technical presentations.

Proficient in English (written and verbal).

Willing to be placed at the Jatake Industrial Area, Cikupa – Tangerang.
