Job summary

PT LS Electric Indonesia is seeking a Quotation Engineer to translate customer requirements into detailed technical quotations and proposals from our West Jakarta base. You will support the sales process with precise specifications, cost analysis, and feasibility assessments for electrical and electronic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive and accurate technical quotations based on customer specifications and project requirements
• Conduct detailed technical analysis and feasibility studies for proposed electrical and electronic engineering projects
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and translate these into technical solutions and pricing models
• Review and verify engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure quotation accuracy
• Perform cost estimation and analysis, including material costs, labour, and overhead allocation
• Liaise with suppliers and internal technical teams to obtain accurate component pricing and availability information
• Maintain and update quotation templates, component databases, and pricing schedules
• Respond to technical queries from customers and sales personnel with clear, professional communication
• Track quotation status and maintain comprehensive records for future reference and analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve quotation processes and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives

About the role

PT LS Electric Indonesia is seeking a Quotation Engineer to join our Engineering team on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position based in West Jakarta, Jakarta, where you will play a crucial role in translating customer requirements into detailed technical quotations and proposals. As a Quotation Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting our sales process by providing accurate technical specifications, cost analysis, and feasibility assessments for our electrical and electronic engineering solutions. Your work will directly impact our ability to secure new business opportunities and maintain our competitive position in the market.

Key responsibilities

Prepare comprehensive and accurate technical quotations based on customer specifications and project requirements

Conduct detailed technical analysis and feasibility studies for proposed electrical and electronic engineering projects

Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and translate these into technical solutions and pricing models

Review and verify engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure quotation accuracy

What we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in quotation engineering

Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and electronic engineering drawings and technical specifications

Solid understanding of electrical components, systems, and manufacturing processes relevant to our product range

Excellent numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in spreadsheet applications and quotation software

Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate quotations consistently

Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with engineering design software would be advantageous

Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple quotations simultaneously

Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, reliability, and professional delivery
