About the role

We are seeking a talented Quarry Manager to join our project site. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of the company's quarry.

What you'll be doing

Plan, oversee, and coordinate quarry operations, production, and extraction activities

Ensure that quarry operations run smoothly and comply with health and safety standards.

Manage and supervise a team of quarry personnel, including operators, technicians, and laborers.

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and performance.

Prepare detailed reports and analysis on quarry operations, including production data, maintenance activities, and safety metrics.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mining Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of practical working experience in a quarry or a mine where explosive is used.

Strong level of technical understanding of quarrying environments and extraction systems, evaluating the quality of raw materials to determine whether they can be used in production processes, and knowledgeable in geological factors such as faults and rock movements.

Able to plan strategically, oversee and coordinate quarry operations, processing, transportation, and ensure entire processes run safely following the Indonesian government health and safety legislation.

Develop inspection systems and checklists, prepare an emergency procedures plan, and provide a monthly report on information and statistics on the quarry's performance

Responsible for vehicles, equipment, and machinery used at quarries, looking after waste disposal and rehabilitation, and landscaping of disturbed areas before demobilization.

Manage and coordinate all interface activities directly with the Employer’s other Contractors and, where applicable.

Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal

Willing to be placed on site, East Kalimantan
