Job summary

A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Jakarta Utara is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (MEP) to support cost control and value management of MEP systems. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and has at least 5 years of experience in consultancy or major construction projects. Key responsibilities include preparing Bills of Quantities, conducting quantity take-offs, and collaborating with project teams to ensure accuracy in cost deliverables.

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor (MEP) who combines technical accuracy with strong analytical ability to support cost control and value management of MEP systems within consultant-led projects.

Your Role
  • Prepare, review, and verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost plans, and tender documents for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and evaluate contractor submissions for accuracy and compliance with consultant design.
  • Support tender evaluation, value engineering, and cost optimization throughout project stages.
  • Review progress claims, variations, and final accounts to ensure alignment with contract terms and budgets.
  • Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and clients to maintain transparency and precision in all cost deliverables.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a QS MEP in consultancy or major construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire system designs.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and cost estimation software.
  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, and able to communicate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
