PT Harapan Jaya Sentosa (Harapan Construction) is seeking a hands-on Quantity Surveyor based in Riau, Indonesia. You will prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project budgets.

You will evaluate quotations, support tender evaluations, monitor costs and variations, and work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams. Site visits, measurements, and cost-control improvements are part of the role.

Qualificações

• Strong cost estimation and budgeting for building/infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in tender documentation, contract administration, and evaluating quotations.
• Able to perform on-site measurements and liaise with project teams.
• Experience with quantity surveying software and construction documentation tools.
• Solid understanding of materials, methods, timelines, and quality standards.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Riau, Indonesia. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications and budgets. The role includes evaluating contractor and supplier quotations, supporting tender evaluations, and monitoring project costs and variations throughout the construction lifecycle. The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to track progress, update financial reports, and assist in contract administration and claims. The role also involves conducting site visits, verifying measurements, and supporting continuous improvement in cost control and procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in cost estimation, budgeting, and preparation of bills of quantities for building and infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in tender documentation, contract administration, and evaluation of contractor and supplier quotations.
• Ability to perform on-site measurements, verify quantities, and liaise effectively with project managers, engineers, and site teams.
• Experience with quantity surveying software, spreadsheets, and relevant construction documentation tools.
• Good understanding of construction materials, methods, project timelines, and quality standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Previous experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Riau and visit project locations as required.
