Job description

Summary

Represent the quality function of technical support, in conjunction with other internal support groups, regarding issues affecting manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain QA plans and process routings that reflect intended/actual activities.
2. Support all quoting activities by participating in initial process design, development, and implementation phases.
3. Evaluate and support inspection processes through inspection aids and instructional guidelines.
4. Develop and implement specialized training sessions to support all relevant functions.
5. Review and maintain documentation files; develop systems for document storage and access.
6. Review supplier or customer discrepancies; coordinate and track corrective/preventative actions.
7. Analyze trends in defects occurring at the customer, supplier, and internal levels.
8. Participate in vendor survey activities as applicable.
9. Engage proactively with suppliers and assist in their process improvement efforts when possible.
10. Ensure compliance with Policies and Procedures related to ISO, EN4600, and GMP documentation across departments.
11. Monitor departmental activities and provide technical and logistical support to the quality engineering staff.
12. Provide technical support on quality issues with customers as needed.
13. Support corrective action efforts using SPC data and tracking tools; facilitate meetings, procedures, or team-building initiatives as necessary.
14. Serve as a liaison between Jabil Circuit and suppliers or customers regarding quality issues.
15. Enhance technical support for the quality organization.
16. Follow all safety and health regulations related to this position and as directed by the supervisor.
17. Adhere to company security policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree required with at least two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
