Quality Manager

About the role

As a Quality Manager at 广东高义包装科技股份有限公司, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our manufacturing operations in Batam, Riau Islands. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance and control activities, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of excellence throughout the organisation.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing and implementing comprehensive quality management systems, including quality control procedures, testing protocols, and quality audits
2. Monitoring production processes to identify and address quality issues, implementing corrective and preventative actions as needed
3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyse quality data, identify root causes of problems, and devise solutions to improve product quality
4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, standards, and customer requirements
5. Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality best practices
6. Continuously reviewing and refining quality processes to drive operational efficiency and enhance the company's competitive edge
7. Preparing detailed quality reports and presenting findings to management

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 8 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably within the Packaging Industry, Household Appliance Industry, Consumer Electronics Industry, and Other Manufacturing Industries
2. Thorough understanding of quality management principles, tools, and techniques, such as Six Sigma, ISO, and lean manufacturing
3. Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data, identify trends, and implement effective quality improvement initiatives
4. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
6. Fluency in Mandarin or English
7. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
