Quality Lab Technician - Your future position

As a Quality Lab Technician with Givaudan, the global leader in the fragrance and flavor industry, you will, under limited supervision, inspect and analyze raw materials, in-process, and finished product samples to ensure compliance with product safety regulations, specifications, and standards. This position reports to the Quality Team Leader.

In this exciting role, you will also:

• Perform chemical and sensory evaluations.
• Create sensory plans and lead sensory evaluations of products.
• Enter test results into SAP in a timely manner, resulting in acceptance or rejection.
• Perform basic equipment calibrations as per calibration procedures.
• Troubleshoot instruments, equipment, and quality deviations in the laboratory.
• Maintain a hygienic, 5S-implemented, and safe work environment.
• Provide backup and support to team members as necessary.
• Identify opportunities for improvements in QC and set proactive measures for trouble prevention.

Your professional profile includes:

• Diploma in Food Technology, Chemical, or related science or engineering discipline.
• Overall work experience of 3 to 4 years in similar positions, preferably with chemical and sensory exposure.
• Operational experience and a strong affinity for laboratory systems, analytical equipment, and instruments.
• Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous materials, and related local regulations.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.
