A major global paper manufacturer located in Karawang is seeking an experienced Quality Management System Manager with a strong background in quality engineering and paper manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should have over 15 years of experience as well as proficiency in quality control tools like FMEA and SPC. This role demands a commitment to maintaining quality standards and continual improvement within the organization.
To coordinate and initiate the activities of reducing raw material / chemical cost with acceptable quality.
To ensure calibration of all measuring equipment that effect quality / environment and conduct calibration as per schedule.
To assist in product development in developing an acceptable quality product and or in coordinating with marketing and production.
Coordinate and initiate trial of new chemicals, raw material and new product.
Create leads, and involve projects as per MBOS Rule, SDA, SGA, JDI, etc.
Participates in trials and ensures proper inspection and testing during trials.
To ensure safety procedures are followed in dealing with chemicals and other raw material as per MSDS.
To ensure preparation of all quality/environmental related documents in his/her area and approve the same.
Monitor and follows up the quality objective as per KPI set by Dept. Head and ensure there is continual improvement
To handle customer claim / complaint, returned goods and withdrawal of product
Ensure corrective and preventive action regarding customer claim / complaint, abnormal product, returned goods and withdrawal of product.
To ensure proper analysis of customer complaints..
Ensure effectiveness implementation of QMS & EMS
To ensure proper inspection and testing of all the raw materials received in the mills for the manufacture of finished product.
To ensure proper inspection and testing of in-process product parameters and final products.
To verify the implementation of corrective and preventive action and suggest changes if required
To coordinates the activities of the main laboratory and approve the purchase of new test equipment whenever required.
To ensure proper testing of new chemical.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in chemical / Industrial Engineering
Have at least 15 years experience in Quality Engineering or relevant experiences
Strong understanding of paper manufacturing processes, quality control principles, statistical analysis, new product development and R&D
Proficiency in tools like FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), and control plans
Understanding and applying the principles of ISO 9001 for quality management systems
Ability to conduct and participate in quality audits
Placement in Karawang, West Java
