OVERVIEW:
Assists QA director/manager to improve product quality at assigned Suppliers’ Location.

Accountabilities:
Essential Functions
- Coordinate with suppliers to achieve 99% FPY and maximum output on day 1 of mass production.
- Analyze PSI’s Lot Rejection and Yield data to enhance product quality.
- Conduct factory line audits and recommend CARs for improvements.
- Perform Product Failure Analysis and implement Corrective Actions.
- Recommend product/material reworks and dispositions.
- Coordinate with suppliers to implement all CARs from PSI, customer returns, life tests, audits, warranty returns, and other corrective requests.
- Participate in NPD process, prepare Quality Plans, EB Sample Audits, and necessary PRRA documents.
- Determine CTQ parameters, perform Process Capability Studies, and drive pFMEA to improve quality.
- Attend project management meetings and support ECN implementations with engineering teams.
- Participate in retailer factory assessments and testing with suppliers.
- Ensure a safe working environment for subordinates.
- Drive continuous improvement with suppliers through reviews of CIP, Kaizen, and lessons learned.
- Conduct factory audits, independent audits, and supplier maturity assessments to enhance overall quality management.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and lead suppliers to improve product quality.
- Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to achieve 99% FPY and maximum output at the start of mass production.
- Support the quality manager in achieving objectives.
- Work closely with Boston QA/testing team to implement product safety, customer returns, and customer experience initiatives at suppliers’ facilities.
Attributes and Skills:

Hiring Requirements:
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in quality management, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in quality management.
- Familiar with quality gates such as IQC, IPQC, FQC, EOL, PSI.
- Proficient in basic quality tools for problem-solving and improvements.
- Understanding of quality standards, audits, and continuous improvement practices.
Functional Skills/Knowledge:
- Ability to speak local language; English or Chinese skills are a plus.
- Ability to work independently.
